Follow-up Comment #7:
Ben, I'm not sure:
1- I hit the very same bug with Octave > 3.4.0 on Windows
2- There's something fishy about the "automagical" solution (BTW Jordi has
made some nice comments on this type of metaphysical software adaptation
issues)
3- I don't know if it really is __print_parse_opts__.m, subfunc
__ghostscript_binary__ where the actual error occurs. I only found the error
msg there, but at the time I didn't dig very hard.
So, my suggestion is to wait until a new Windows binary comes up (3.6.2) and
see if this bug still occurs again with it.
As there is an "outside workaround" (bottom of comment #1) I've lowered the
priority a bit.
