Update of bug #38175 (project octave): Status: Need Info => Invalid Open/Closed: Open => Closed _______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #10: If the simple C++ program in the DragonFlyBSD report is segfaulting for you, there is no hope for Octave's usage of std::string to work either. So I am inclined to say that this is a compiler problem. I am closing this bug report.
