[Octave-bug-tracker] [bug #40436] median no longer passes make check

Follow-up Comment #4, bug #40436 (project octave):

No cruft.  I have done 2 full installs from clone
since this problem appeared.  Note:
1. It only happens once per Octave invocation.
2. In make check it fist happens after other calls to
   assert.
3. If running test median from command line it only
   seems to happen on the sequence shown below.
4. I have also tried octave --non-init-file, but this
   has no effect.
5. test median always works for me too.  Try the sequence
   below.  

This is weird.
