URL: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?41054> Summary: doc not working with compressed info files anymore Project: GNU Octave Submitted by: mtmiller Submitted on: Wed 01 Jan 2014 09:02:33 AM EST Category: Octave Function Severity: 3 - Normal Priority: 5 - Normal Item Group: Regression Status: None Assigned to: mtmiller Originator Name: Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: 3.8.0 Operating System: GNU/Linux _______________________________________________________ Details: This is my fault, I neglected to test the new detection code on a build with compressed info files. The info command silently adds the .gz extension but the code in doc.m to detect the info file does not. Distributions can work around this by running configure with an argument of "infofile=/usr/share/info/octave.info.gz" but this seems better fixed in the function since it used to work. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?41054> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
