Thank you for the reply.
Both your suggestions working just fine without any crashes.
By the way my Octave is running on Windows 7 (64bit) and configured for
i686-pc-mingw32.
If I wouldn't be able resolve it within some time, I'll try to install 3.8.0
and see whether it will help or not.
