Follow-up Comment #1, bug #41280 (project octave):

This works on my Ubuntu machine. Some questions:

* Does Octave crash when you answer "Yes"?

* Does Octave crash when you restart Octave without restoring the previously
open files and then selecting the missing file from the mru-menu?

* Does Octave crash when you try to edit a non existing file by
>> edit foo
and select "No" in the following dialog?

* Does the behavior depend on the state of the editor atthe end of the
previous session (docked, floating, visible etc.).
