Follow-up Comment #8, bug #35511 (project octave):

Pantxo, you're approach seems about right.  I agree that it would be nice if
there were a way to quickly remove the Read-Only properties rather than
looking for the Read-Only properties by name.  But I don't have any handy
trick to do that.
