Details:

Hi,

When I have tried the approved methods to install the geometry package
including:

pkg -forge install geometry

and

pkg install c:\\path\\geometry-1.7.0

I get a similar series of error messages including a make failure which
indicate the install has failed which is confirmed when I enter:

pkg list

I have installed Octave 3.6.4 on Windows Vista. Non-package functions seem to
work OK.
