Follow-up Comment #14, bug #43340 (project octave):

The output is very long, but I guess this is the interesting part with build
config locations:

It's true, I have a gunplot installed via Homebrew. But as brew tells me that
is here:

address@hidden ~> brew ls gnuplot
/usr/local/Cellar/gnuplot/4.6.6/bin/gnuplot
/usr/local/Cellar/gnuplot/4.6.6/libexec/gnuplot/4.6/gnuplot_x11
/usr/local/Cellar/gnuplot/4.6.6/share/emacs/ (4 files)
/usr/local/Cellar/gnuplot/4.6.6/share/gnuplot/ (35 files)
/usr/local/Cellar/gnuplot/4.6.6/share/man/man1/gnuplot.1

Also I was under the assumption that my PATH config was not in effect as the
app bundle should bring its own, if I'm not mistaken.

So I'm not sure how a different gnuplot might end up in this location.
