Follow-up Comment #30, bug #43298 (project octave):

LLVM has fixed the bug of http://llvm.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=21083 .

so from the "less is more"'s perspective, the investigation for removing
double/float conversion is still interesting, but it's not relavent to this
bug anymore, IMHO.
