Details:
I am using MAC OS Yosemite 10.10.1 on a MacBook Air with Hungarian
localization.
To get squared bracket in any other program, I have to push Alt+8 and Alt+9.
In Octave 3.8.0 I have to push Alt-8 twice to get [, and push Alt+8 and Alt+9
to get ].
When I run the same version in terminal, there is no problem.
