URL: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?44142> Summary: audioplayer.playblocking should be interruptible with Ctrl-C Project: GNU Octave Submitted by: mtmiller Submitted on: Sat 31 Jan 2015 06:04:50 PM EST Category: Octave Function Severity: 3 - Normal Priority: 5 - Normal Item Group: Feature Request Status: None Assigned to: None Originator Name: Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: dev Operating System: Any _______________________________________________________ Details: The playblocking method is currently uninterruptible. It does not return control to the terminal until the audio has played through to the end. Someone could easily create an audio vector representing 24 hours and try to play it with playblocking. Ctrl-C while playblocking is going only results in the "Press Control-C again to abort" message. This should cause playblocking to stop early instead and return control to the terminal. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?44142> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
