Follow-up Comment #39, bug #44186 (project octave):

Work fine for me, very good job!

surf(peaks) & print was tested on Windows-7, 
with Qt, fltk & gnuplot, print  -dps & print -dpsc.

However, print -deps  does not work:

>> print -deps -debug a12A.ps
Unknown device: epswrite
Unrecoverable error: syntaxerror in --nostringval--
Operand stack:
    defaultdevice
Unrecoverable error: undefined in .uninstallpagedevice
Operand stack:
    defaultdevice

The default device for eps should be eps2write, but what
about users with older version of GS, without eps2write device?
Should the default device be depend on GS version?
