Follow-up Comment #7, bug #44322 (project octave): Thanks John. I looked up opengl and it seems to be provided by freeglut which is alread yin the src directory but not compiled. make freeglut Failed to build package freeglut! So I looked in the log/freeglut and it says: ... In file included from freeglut_callbacks.c:29:0: freeglut_internal.h:112:39: fatal error: X11/extensions/XInput.h: No such file or directory # include <X11/extensions/XInput.h> ^ compilation terminated. ... Then I tried make x11. make: Nothing to be done for 'x11'. I'm not sure if this is user error. I'm just trying to get a vanilla 64 bit octave without doing the following (which I also struggled with!). https://www.gnu.org/software/octave/doc/interpreter/Compiling-Octave-with-64_002dbit-Indexing.html _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?44322> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
