Follow-up Comment #47, bug #44916 (project octave):

John:  ssh still hangs. But, since this appears to have been
true for some time I would still say that it should not be
a blocker for 4.0.

But, it and related print problems should be given serious
attention after the release.

I do think that relying on Opengl is risky. Maybe this
should be made optional. My system with Intel HD 6000
graphics shows that the software, at least for Fedora,
lags behind the hardware availability.
