Follow-up Comment #4, bug #45297 (project octave):
A further update:
I called the same from the CLI, rather than the GUI. It still crashes, but it
provides the following message:
panic: Segmentation violation -- stopping myself...
attempting to save variables to 'octave-workspace'...
save to 'octave-workspace' complete
The data is the same as per my last comment:
x = [1:2304];
