Follow-up Comment #14, bug #38914 (project octave):
NOTES for ver. 5
The dot/dash pattern of a line can now be controlled independently from other
line properties using the keyword "dashtype".
terminal option dasded is deprecate on Ver. 5.
I have a quick look at __gnuplot_drawnow__.m of ver. 4.0.0.
has_termoption_dashed does not have mean on gnuplot 5.0.
If one want support dash and dotted type on gnuplot ver. 5, the routine should
be changed entirely.
