Thanks for your bug report. I think we'll need some more information about
your Octave setup to determine if this is a bug or not (unable to reproduce
here). How did you install Octave? Does it function normally aside from when
you try to install the odepkg package?

The nargin function is a builtin, I don't see how installing a Forge package
could affect that. I've only seen this error when Octave was miscompiled.
