Details:
The following code will crash octave.
axes;
set(gca,'xlim',[]);
Tested on GNU/Linux and Windows, both GUI and CLI versions.
CLI version reports segmentation violation on exiting.
The same code on matlab results in a sensible error about [] being an illegal
value for the xlim property.
