Details:

(OK a bit nitty gritty)

With setting "more on" and with the pager waiting for input, clicking the
close button on the GUI has no effect. Nor does "File | Exit" from the main
menu have any effect.

But these are remembered.... once "q" is typed in the terminal pane to satisfy
the pager, Octave quits immediately.

I am not sure if this is "intended" or "generally expected" behavior.
My expectation is that "File | Exit" from a main menu quits the application
immediately, maybe only with a pop-up about unsaved files.
