Follow-up Comment #115, bug #41699 (project octave): I think we set the plugins path so that Qt image functions could handle various formats that aren't built-in to Qt by default. Since we all Octave (and the Qt libraries) to be installed wherever, the compiled-in plugin path is wrong. So, something about the qtiff library conflicts with GraphicsMagick in some way?
