Follow-up Comment #3, bug #47817 (project octave):

Since the reason for generating the file doesn't have anything to do with the
docstring, it should be fine to extract the docstring from the .in file
instead of the generated .m file.  I thought I made that change.

We already do the same kind of thing for some other generated files like the
lexer and parser sources.
