Follow-up Comment #1:

Thanks for the report. Octave uses the pager `less` by default when displaying
output that fills the screen. Ctrl+C does not kill `less`, use the `q` key to
exit the pager and return to the prompt. Use the command `more off` when you
start Octave if you don't want to use the pager at all.
