Follow-up Comment #15, bug #48519 (project octave): With changeset: 22361:a12f11e20c75 I have crashes on computers with AMD and NVIDIA cards (no crash on i7 with intel graphics). After applying lachlan's patch still crash on nvidia (I have not tried others): .... --nostringval-- Dictionary stack: --dict:1194/1684(ro)(G)-- --dict:0/20(G)-- --dict:83/200(L)-- --dict:39/64(L)-- Current allocation mode is local Last OS error: Not a directory GPL Ghostscript 9.16: Unrecoverable error, exit code 1 warning: broken pipe terminate called after throwing an instance of 'octave::execution_exception' panic: Aborted -- stopping myself... Aborted (core dumped) The crash is due to ghostscript. It looks like it gets a corrupted input file from gl2ps.
