Follow-up Comment #2, bug #49035 (project octave):
Thanks Mike for your response.
Indeed in the conf.log there were quit some warnings(and also for the
QScintilla library).
After resolving those I got a build error during make:
"/usr/bin/texi2dvi: etex exited with bad status, quitting"
Nevertheless the ./run-octave was created and was able to use octave as
before(probably the previous version I used was an ubuntu package).
Running the make again, also resolved that and I could do the "make install"
without a problem. Octave seems to works fine !
Maybe an idea to make the configure more strict (so fail iso only warnings)? A
GUI which can't open a file does not seems useful to me...
