Update of bug #49234 (project octave):

                Severity:              3 - Normal => 2 - Minor
                Priority:              5 - Normal => 3 - Low
                  Status:                    None => Confirmed
                 Summary: PAGEUP and PAGEDOWN keys blocked by Qt in GUI pager
=> Qt 5 captures Page Up and Page Down keys from reaching command window
terminal

Follow-up Comment #1:

Confirmed, and only applies to Octave built with Qt 5.

Possibly some change in a Qt widget that automatically captures certain key
events by default.

Easy to work around by using many other possible keystrokes to scroll in the
less pager, including Space, f, or d to scroll forward, and b or u to scroll
backward.

The default help line that Octave prints at the end suggests to use b and f.

Another workaround is to completely disable the pager with "more off" and just
use the scrolling feature of the command window.
