Follow-up Comment #14, bug #49053 (project octave):
That patch I submitted still has big problems. It gets the plot to fill the
entire axis, but now the plot coordinates are all messed up.
For example, I tried to
plot(0,0,'ro');
and it puts the marker at (-0.66, 0.58) according to the axis labels.
