Follow-up Comment #3, bug #49768 (project octave): When I select "Create" from the dialog there is a error message: Could not open file <path> for write: Das System kann den angegebenen Pfad nicht finden.. (last part ist german for "path not found") After hitting "ok" the file is untouched and no other file is created. the above happens when there are umlauts in the folder name and filename. when I try to open a file with umlauts in a path without umlauts it opens a new editor file with a wrong character instead of the umlaut. this file then can be saved but the same error occurs when reopening it. but then can't be opened: error: edit: could not create Y:\<path>\t?st.m error: unhandled execution exception -- eval failed _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?49768> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
