Follow-up Comment #2:
This has been a problem in the past, but has already been fixed on the
development branch (which will eventually become release 4.4).
To access the fix you will need to build from the development sources
available in a Mercurial repository, or wait for the 4.4 release. The
development version is actually very stable and I use it every day.
