Follow-up Comment #1:
Pretty but also handy: when the cursor is in a section, pressing some shortcut
(ctrl+ENTER IIRC) will evaluate all the code in the section. In Octave you
currently need to select the code and then press a shortcut (F9 by default) to
run a section of code.
I don't use the builtin editor my self, but this looks like a very useful
feature.
Turning this report into a "Feature Request" since I think ML compatibility is
not really a concern in the GUI.
