Let's use a simple one-line script with a syntax error in the format specifier string: t=sprintf('hello %'); The generated error report is different when I execute the script in batch mode comparing to when the script is executed at the interpreter command line (both in CLI or GUI mode). In the first case the given error is: $ octave test.m warning: function ./test.m shadows a core library function error: sprintf: invalid format specified error: execution exception in test.m In the second case: octave:1> test error: sprintf: invalid format specified error: called from test at line 1 column 2 _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?51120> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
