Follow-up Comment #1:
The page linked to largely has to do with functions covered by the
communications package. What are now function calls could be replaced by
objects in the "comm" namespace, as listed here:
https://www.mathworks.com/help/comm/systemobjectslist.html
This would be a very large project, not a single feature request. Maybe even
an entirely new package. I don't think the bug tracker is the most suitable
place to keep track of something like this. If you want to work on this,
please do. If you want to add it to the wiki for the communications package or
as an independent project idea, please do so.
Closing as invalid because there is no label for "out of scope".
