Follow-up Comment #35, bug #36954 (project octave):
The test that I had in my patch in comment #12 seems to pass for my Windows 7
system. So I think this is good work, Mike, thanks.
In the next weeks I'll probably will do some more intensive testing once I'll
pick up again my tidal analyses research (= where I first hit this bug).
