Follow-up Comment #1, bug #52348 (project octave): The crlibm is no longer maintained upstream. Its website has been closed and the repository has been integrated into the metalibm project https://gforge.inria.fr/projects/metalibm/ – though they don't seem to update it anymore. This is one of the reasons why the library is bundled in the Octave package. I have already made some smaller fixes to keep it up-to-date without notifying anybody.
