Follow-up Comment #45, bug #53046 (project octave):

I'm working on restructuring things a bit in the changeset.  I want to take
away most of the functionality from variable_dock_widget and just have
variable_dock_widget handle the focus/dock/undock; it doesn't seem like that
should be there because the dock widgets are primarily container classes. 
I've grouped those member functions either with the stacked widget (new class)
or the table view (new class).  This shouldn't take long to debug and repost.
