Details:

I run into a build error problem that surfaces every once in a while, where
the final build fails with the message

Usually this goes away on rebuilding, but is rather inconvenient that it still
shows up every once in a while. I found other likely related (closed) bug
reports with related symptoms: bug #44166, and bug #44782. I have the
config.log file saved and the text output if those will be useful: there are a
number of other warnings/errors that are printed out during the same build
whenever this build failure occurs.
