Follow-up Comment #1:
Thanks, but this is not a bug. Ubuntu 18.04 has Octave 4.2.2 already, there is
no need to upload a 4.2.2 package for 18.04, so the PPA reports that there is
no metadata for 18.04.
When someone gets around to syncing Octave 4.4.0 from Debian to Ubuntu's
development release, then the PPA will be updated.
If you can help me add some text to the "welcome" message that gets printed
that helps explain why this is not an error, please do.
