@Mike: This sounds like a good idea.  I don't know if the FSF has an opinion
on it, but DOAPs are very widely used for free software.

I just went to the Wikipedia page (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DOAP) and
from there I found a link to a DOAP generator
(https://crschmidt.net/semweb/doapamatic/).

I looked at the fields in the generator and what you already have in your
trial DOAP field and it seems fine to me.

I don't think this upsets anything if you just go ahead and commit it.
