Details:
I am running 4.2.1, Win 64x.
This works. There are two lines in subplot(2,1,1)
fid=figure; subplot(2,1,1); plot([1 0], [0 1]); hold on;
figure(fid); subplot(2,1,1); plot([0 2], [1 0]);
This does not. There is only one line in subplot(2,1,1)
fid=figure; subplot(2,1,1); plot([1 0], [0 1]); hold on; gid=figure;
figure(fid); subplot(2,1,1); plot([0 2], [1 0]);
