just a warning, this may not be the end of Windows CMD changes.

and apparently "Windows Subsystem for Linux" is a feature with some attention
from the MS development community.  It maybe that there will be a better way
to hook into the Windows CLI moving forward? That may require someone who
knows what it is that project is trying to do in the first place.
