Update of bug #54413 (project octave): Status: None => Invalid _______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #3: @Dmitri. I just checked on Windows and you are correct. This is an operating system issue, not an Octave issue, as Octave can save to filenames ending in an asterisk on Linux, and presumably MacOS too.
