Follow-up Comment #22, bug #44670 (project octave):
I don't remember all of the details and Pantxo will know better but I think
that the new function openfig.m (uncommenting the call to movegui() as it's
now available) and the changes to hgload.m from comment #13 can be pushed. The
change to open.m is unnecessary now, after bug #53400. I would also make the
change from comment #15 about copyobj.m.
There is still a lot of work to do but it should take place in struct2hdl.m.
