URL: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?54974> Summary: [octave forge] (image) incompatible results of entropy.m Project: GNU Octave Submitted by: hardy Submitted on: Tue 06 Nov 2018 08:05:58 PM UTC Category: Octave Forge Package Severity: 3 - Normal Priority: 5 - Normal Item Group: Matlab Compatibility Status: None Assigned to: None Originator Name: Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: 4.4.1 Operating System: Any _______________________________________________________ Details: The results of entropy.m in the image package don't seem to be very Matlab compatible. Here is a small example: G = [-1 2 7; -5 2 8; -7 pi 9] entropy(G) >From another bug report (on entropyfilt, see patch #9235) I assume that the Matlab result on this will be 0.9183. But the current (image 2.8.0 release) Octave output is 2.9477. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?54974> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/
