Follow-up Comment #15, bug #55046 (project octave): Thanks for the fixes (comment #12 and comment #14) Rik, now the title covers exactly what should be done to avoid such errors in the future. I like the idea of jwe (comment #11) that hides the compiler-detection clutter to a well defined place. Do you want to work on this Rik or jwe?
