Follow-up Comment #15, bug #55187 (project octave):

This is what I did and whats happening:

cd into the build directory

#cd build
#./run-octave -f

a prompt opens

#plot (1:10, "o-");

a gui opens with a plot in it. I can open a "file->save" dialog and save to a
file untitled.ofig.

print -color tstplot.eps

a short flickering in the gui happens. No file tstplot.eps anywhere.
