Follow-up Comment #10, bug #55268 (project octave):
It might be worth waiting on the resolution of bug #48519 (Segfault with Qt
plotting when running demos). The same behavior is observed: segfaults when
operating under extreme graphics load. Pantxo just submitted a preliminary
patch for that.
