Follow-up Comment #11, bug #55325 (project octave):

Yes you're right but in my local builds I removed all binary modules from
linear-algebra as all of them are also in core; plus condeig.m. So I didn't
see error messages.
I regularly use other functions from that package and I find it a  pain that
linear-algebra shadows core functions,
