Details:

Both Qt and FLTK toolkits incorrectly handle the figure "(outer)position"
properties. In Matlab, those properties are matrices [x0 y0 width height]
where x0 and y0 define the lower-left hand corner of the figure window
("outerposition") and drawable canvas ("position"). 
In Octave x0 and y0 define the upper-left hand corner.
