Follow-up Comment #5, bug #55047 (project octave):
To be honest, I am just guessing as to what is causing the crash.
But it looks like this might "solve" the issue. Running the test suite with
fltk does NOT segfault for me:
graphics_toolkit fltk
__run_test_suite__
(I see 2 fails and 1 regression.)
