Follow-up Comment #2, bug #55481 (project octave):

Rik,

I ran the script on dev system and all the plots looked
just fine. As I am sure you know, there has long been
a claim that Octave plotting was much less effective
than Matlab's. This was, from my view, pretty sad since
Matlab's plotting is far from what should be available.

So, congratulations to all who helped with this!!!
